Programs

Every day, entirely outside.

Our programs are designed for children ages 2–6, with sessions that follow the natural rhythm of the day — unhurried, sensory-rich, and rooted in the living world.

Our Offerings

Ages 2–3

Seedlings

Mon–Fri · 9:30am–1:30pm

A gentle introduction to the outdoor classroom. Seedlings spend their mornings in sensory play, circle time, and free exploration — always close to a trusted teacher and the natural world.

Ages 3–4

Sprouts

Mon–Fri · 9:30am–1:30pm

Sprouts are ready to roam a little further. This program deepens nature connection through seasonal projects, storytelling, and collaborative outdoor play in small groups.

Ages 5–6

Forest Explorers

Mon–Fri · 9:30am–1:30pm

Our program for older children ready to roam further and stay longer. Forest Explorers spend their days on trails, in the garden, and at the creek — building confidence, independence, and a deep love of the living world.

What to Know

What to bring

  • Weather-appropriate layers (we go out in all conditions)
  • Sturdy, closed-toe shoes — no sandals or flip-flops
  • A change of clothes (mud is expected and celebrated)
  • Nut-free snack and water bottle
  • Sunscreen applied before arrival
  • A sense of adventure

Our commitment to safety

All Wild Sprouts teachers hold current pediatric first aid and CPR certification. Our student-to-teacher ratio is 4:1 for our youngest learners and never exceeds 6:1. Each teacher carries a first aid kit and a cell phone at all times, and we conduct daily site checks and maintain clear emergency protocols for every location we use.

We believe children deserve the freedom to take age-appropriate risks — to climb, to dig, to get wet — within a framework of thoughtful, attentive supervision.
